Dinner with friends at The Dining Room at Kendall College.
Tonight was a tour of Northern Italy.
First course:
Verdure alla Parmigiana
Vegetables in the style of Parma
This dish was one of the highlights. Similar to ratatouille with some fontina cheese, wrapped in grilled zucchini. Delish.

Second Course:
Tonno Fresco con Piselli
Seared Tuna with Tomato and Peas
Better in theory than in reality. The tuna was a little overdone and mine was one of the rarest.
Third Course:
Fagiano con Funghi
Risotto Milanese
This was the best dish of the evening. Perfect.
Fourth Course:
Roast Pheasant, Mushrooms, Sage and Parsley
Unfortunately, the worst of the evening. It was difficult to cut through the skin. Felt overdone. The mushrooms were spectacular.
Fifth Course:
Ciambelline Rustiche con Espresso
Country doughnuts with coffee
The doughnuts were delightful and the panna cotta aka espresso pudding was incredible.
Looking forward to eating here again.
