Restaurant Week in Chicago....Part I

This is Restaurant Week in Chicago....that marvelous time of year when all the fancy-pants joints in the city lower their prices on prix fixe menus, so that those of us NOT on an expense account can afford to check them out.

Today's lunch at Naha was $22. My calculations came up to 23.5 points.

Starter

Fanny Bay Oysters from Vancouver Island with Pernod, Crème Fraiche and Candied Citrus Sorbet

Entree

Great Lakes Whitefish Hot Smoked and Mustard Seed Glazed with Beluga Lentils, Buttered Leeks and Jerusalem Artichokes

Dessert

Banana Tartlette, Spiced Rum, Toasted Cashews, Vanilla Chiboust “Custard” and Salted Caramel
